Unity began in 1889 in Kansas City, Missouri, and has grown to over 600 centers/churches and study groups around the world. It's founders, Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, had personal experiences of God which demonstrated in the outer world as physical healing, guidance, and abundant prosperity.
